Role & Responsibilities:

The Vice Chancellor will serve as the principal executive and academic officer of the University. Key responsibilities include:

• Promoting teaching, research, and publications.
• Ensuring excellent administration and efficiency of the University.

Essential Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Age: Must not be more than sixty-five (65) years of age on the last date fixed for the submission of applications.
• Education: Must have earned a PhD degree from an HEC recognized or UNESCO listed institution.
• Experience: Must have experience in a senior academic, research, or management leadership position.
• Research: Must possess a distinguished research and publications record.
• NOC: Must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer before the interview.

Terms of Appointment & Salary:

• Tenure: The Vice Chancellor will be appointed for a term of four years and serves at the pleasure of the Chancellor.
• Salary: The incumbent will be entitled to a salary of a Professor on Tenure Track System as per the approval of the Government.
