The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) is a public university the main campus situated in Lahore, Punjab, This university offered four type faculty in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This university started in 1921 as a Mughalpura Technical College, then it renamed as MacLagan Engineering College in 1923 and affiliated with Punjab Univerity In 1962, it officially became a University of Engineering and Technology (UET). It has 881 faculty people with 257 doctorates. It has a number of students 9,385 undergraduate and 1,708 postgraduate studying.
