Key Responsibilities

• Formulate strategy development, risk management, scenario planning, and financial sustainability activity.

• Establish a culture of Total Quality Management (TQM) throughout the higher education sector.

• Strengthen the country’s research output and foster a culture of innovation within the higher education sector.

• Develop and build NAHE as a premier, globally accredited institution for capacity building, training, and research.

• Serve in a leadership role within the academic sector of higher learning, maintaining an understanding of national and international academic principles.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• PhD Degree in any discipline (preferably STEM for Research role) from an HEC recognized University/Institute.

• 20 to 22 years of distinguished experience in higher education, teaching, research, and/or academic management.

• At least five years of service at a leadership and strategic position with a proven record of governance or quality improvement.

• Strong analytical and technical skills, communication ability, and commitment to reform and delivery.

• High moral and ethical standards with a demonstrated ability to command the respect of academic peers.
