The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Water Resources, Office of the Chief Engineering Adviser & Chairman Federal Flood Commission (CFFC), has announced vacancies for project staff. These positions are for the project titled “Umbrella PC-I of FPSP-III,” which is a significant national initiative with a total cost of Rs. 194.625 billion.

The hiring is strictly on a contract basis. Initially, the appointment will be for a two-year contract period, which may be extended for another two years based on the individual’s performance.

The primary purpose of this recruitment is to establish a Project Coordination & Management Unit (PCMU) to manage and monitor the implementation of FPSP-III. This project forms Phase-I of the updated 4th National Flood Protection Plan (NFPP-IV) aimed at improving flood protection infrastructure across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the implementation of the FPSP-III project.

• Coordinate activities within the Project Coordination & Management Unit (PCMU) established under the Office of the Chief Engineering Adviser & Chairman Federal Flood Commission.

• Support the implementation of the updated 4th National Flood Protection Plan (NFPP-IV).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• For technical roles: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, Irrigation, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

• For administrative/financial roles: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, LLB, or Computer Sciences.

• For support staff: Primary pass, Middle pass with LTV driving license, or basic knowledge of office routine.

• Professional experience ranging from 1 to 10 years post-qualification depending on the specific post.
