The Directorate General Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control, Balochistan (North Zone Quetta) has announced a large recruitment drive for 2025. Applications are invited from eligible candidates possessing the Local/Domicile of Balochistan to fill various vacant positions.

This recruitment offers opportunities ranging from administrative roles to field force positions across different scales (BPS-01 to BPS-12). The department is looking for dedicated individuals for posts such as Assistant Computer Operator, Junior Clerk, Excise Constable (Male & Female), Driver, Naib Qasid, and Chowkidar. The vacancies are distributed among various zones including Merit, Kalat, Zhob, Naseerabad, Mekran, and Quetta Zone.

Educational Requirements: Candidates ranging from Literate and Middle pass to Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS) holders are eligible to apply, depending on the specific post requirements. Technical skills like typing speed and computer diplomas are required for administrative roles.

Physical Standards (For Constables):

• Height: Male (5 ft 6 inch), Female (5 ft 3 inch).

• Chest (Male): 32.5 x 33.5 inches.

• Running: Male (1.6 KM in 7 Minutes), Female (1.6 KM in 9 Minutes).

Important Notes & Terms/Conditions

• Age Limit: Generally 18-30 Years.

  • Note: According to the notification of the Government of Balochistan, the upper age limit for Junior Clerk is relaxed up to 43 years, while the upper age limit for Constable (Male/Female) remains 30 years.

• Mandatory Training: Recruits must undergo mandatory basic training at PTC/LTC after appointment.

• Affidavit: Candidates must submit an affidavit stating they are not involved in any FIR. If an FIR is found, the candidate will be ineligible, and legal action will be taken.

• Physical Test: Only candidates who meet the physical standards will be eligible to apply for Constable positions. Measurements of height and chest will be taken, and running tests will be conducted.

• Document Verification: Verification of educational documents, CNIC, and Medical Certificates will be done. If any document is found fake during scrutiny, the appointment will be cancelled, and legal action will be taken.

• No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance will be admissible for tests/interviews.

• Quotas: Specific quotas are allocated for Women (5%), Minorities (5%), and Disabled Persons (5%) as per Government policy.
