The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that TransKarachi maintains effective control and management of its finances, while supporting strategic planning and decision-making under the leadership of the CFO and CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting and Planning: Prepare annual budget estimates for Government of Sindh share and foreign partners.

• Funds Management: Prepare cash forecasts and track funds with National Bank of Pakistan and ADB.

• Expenditure/Payment Processing: Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and fiduciary guidelines.

• Accounting and Record Management: Record transactions timely in Pak Rupees and US$.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements per IPSAS and SECP requirements.

• Audit: Manage timely initiation and completion of project audits.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• CA / CMA / ACCA with at least 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial position.

• OR MBA Finance with overall experience of 10 years, including 5 years in a managerial position.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in projects funded by Government and multilateral partners like World Bank or Asian Development Bank.
