• Contract Duration: The appointment is on a contract basis for a period of two years, extendable by one year.

• Age Limit: General age limit is 18-25 years, plus a 5-year general relaxation. Additional relaxations apply for Ex-Service Men, Scheduled Castes, Government Servants, and sons of deceased civil servants.

• Medical Fitness: Successful candidates must pass a prescribed medical test by the Divisional Medical Officer, Pakistan Railways, Lahore.

• Domicile: Applicants must belong to specific districts such as Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal, Kasur, Pakpattan, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Hafizabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Sialkot, or Narowal.

• Affidavit: In the case of a Railway employee’s son, an affidavit must be submitted stating no other children are appointed against the Railway Quota.

• Verification: Lawful proceedings will be initiated against applicants who submit fake certificates.
