These positions are offered on a three (03) years contract basis, which is extendable upon satisfactory performance. All successful candidates will be stationed in Karachi, working in a high-impact, professional environment that values performance, integrity, and innovation.

Hired individuals will work on critical tasks including actuarial valuations, product development, financial reporting, IFRS-17 implementation, Takaful actuarial matters, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review actuarial pricing, valuation, and IFRS-17 reporting for Life and Takaful business.

• Support assumption setting, methodology development, and maintenance of actuarial models.

• Assist in solvency and capital adequacy assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Independently perform actuarial valuation and experience analyses.

• Provide technical support, mentor junior staff, and contribute to management reports.

• Coordinate with Finance, Underwriting, IT, and Reinsurance/Retakaful teams and support audits.

• Support pricing and profitability analysis for various product portfolios.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Associate member of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), USA / Institute & Faculty of Actuaries (IFOA), UK OR 4-years Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from a reputable university.

• Passed at least 1 to 3 exams (excluding VEEs and Modules) of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), USA / Institute & Faculty of Actuaries (IFOA), UK depending on the post.

• 1 to 3 years of work experience in an actuarial related work/field depending on the specific role applied for.
