Key Responsibilities

• Technical maintenance and servicing of aircraft and related defense equipment (Aero Tech).

• Providing ground, administrative, and operational support across air bases (Aero Support).

• Training, physical physical development, and enforcing drill regulations (PF & DI).

• Ensuring safety, surveillance, and tactical perimeter security of PAF assets and bases (Security).

• Safe operation, maintenance, and handling of military mechanical transport vehicles (MTD).

Trade-Specific Criteria

• Aero-Technician / Aero-Support: Matric Science with minimum 65% marks. Must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and 65% marks (65/150) in English. Height: 163 to 188 cm. Age: 15 ½ to 19 years on December 28, 2026.

• PF & DI: Matric Science with minimum 65% marks. Must have at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and 65% marks in English. Height: 178 to 188 cm. Eyesight: 6/6 without glasses. Age: 16 ½ to 21 years on December 28, 2026.

• Security: Matric Science with minimum 65% marks. Must have at least 60% marks in English. Height: 175 to 188 cm. Eyesight: 6/6 without glasses. Age: 17 ½ to 21 years on December 28, 2026.

• MTD: Matric Science with minimum 65% marks. Must have at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and 65% marks in English. Height: 168 to 188 cm. Eyesight: 6/6 without glasses. Age: 17 ½ to 21 years (or up to 23 years for LTV/HTV license holders) on December 28, 2026.

• Rural Areas of Pakistan & Azad Kashmir: Candidates from designated rural areas who completed their Matric from their local area schools with a minimum of 50% marks, and at least 40% in English, are eligible.

• KPK (FATA), Gilgit Baltistan & Balochistan: Candidates belonging to these specific regions who passed Matric with at least 50% marks, and at least 40% in English, can apply. Selection Process & Criteria

1. Initial Assessment: Candidates will undergo initial intelligence, academic, and physical tests. Academic tests cover English, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology (depending on the trade).

2. Physical Fitness Standards: * Race: 1.6 Kilometers (1 Mile) to be completed in 8 Minutes.

   • Push-ups: 15 repetitions in 2 Minutes.

   • Sit-ups: 20 repetitions in 2 Minutes.

   • Chin-ups: 03 repetitions in 2 Minutes.

3. Medical & Interview: Candidates passing the initial phase will clear psychological, detailed medical, and selection board interviews.

4. Final Merit: Final selection is strictly based on the performance merit list compiled by Air Headquarters.

Ineligibility Criteria

• Discharged or dismissed from any government service, military force, or civil agency on disciplinary grounds.

• Convicted by a court of law for moral turpitude or criminal activities.
