Ayub Teaching Hospital (MTI-ATH) Abbottabad has announced a vacancy for the position of Manager Security. This is an autonomous Medical Teaching Institution governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015. The institution is a 1500-bed Tertiary Care Hospital seeking a professional to oversee its security operations.

The hiring is for a clinical and non-clinical position on a contract basis, regulated under the MTI Act and the December 2025 uniform contract policy. The primary purpose of this recruitment is to ensure the implementation of an overall security management plan and to maintain a safe environment within the hospital premises.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing security protocols, evaluating potential risks, and coordinating with public and private sectors to ensure the safety of the institution’s staff and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall security operations of the 1500-bed hospital.

• Evaluate potential risks and take precautionary measures on a timely basis.

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and SOPs.

• Coordinate and liaise with public and private sectors on behalf of the institution.

• Ensure the realization of the overall security management plan.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably 1st Division). A retired officer of the minimum rank of Major or equivalent from armed forces/police services or a civilian with relevant qualification.

• Experience (Armed Forces/Police): Minimum 03 years of experience as Security Incharge in a leading institution/organization.

• Experience (Civilian): Minimum 10 years of experience as Security Supervisor/Incharge in a reputable institution/organization.

• Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Language Competency: Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills in English and Urdu.
