Federal Government Issues Holidays Notification

The Government of Pakistan has officially announced the public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. A notification has been issued by the Cabinet Division, detailing the approved holidays for government offices and institutions across the country.

Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays Schedule

According to the notification, the holidays will be observed as follows:

1. For Offices Observing Five Working Days a Week

   • Holidays: 31st March to 4th April 2025 (Monday to Friday)

2. For Offices Observing Six Working Days a Week

   • Holidays: 29th March to 5th April 2025 (Saturday to next Saturday)

The notification further instructs that this information be widely disseminated through national and regional newspapers as well as electronic media.

• The President’s Secretariat
• Chief Election Commissioner
• Auditor General of Pakistan
• Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies
