Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates for clerical and assistant roles shall undertake and qualify the mandatory prescribed IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by the NITB within one year.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Graduate from an HEC recognized university for Assistant.

2nd Class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s Degree from an HEC recognized university for Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector.

Intermediate with minimum typing and shorthand speeds (80 w.p.m shorthand, 40 w.p.m typing for Stenotypist). Must be computer literate.

Intermediate for Upper Division Clerk (UDC).

Matriculation with a minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m for Lower Division Clerk (LDC).

Matriculation 2nd Class from a recognized Board for Constable and Constable Driver.

Valid Motorcycle & LTV license from any licensing authority in Pakistan with experience in driving light vehicles and knowledge of vehicle maintenance for Constable Driver.

Primary pass with valid Motor Car License and well-versed in traffic rules for Staff Car Driver.

Physical Requirements for Uniformed Posts: For men, Height 5 ft & 6 inches, Chest 33 x 34.5 inches. For women, Height 5 ft & 4 inches.

On 4th May 2026, the applicant must possess the requisite educational qualifications and experience, and must be within the age limits mentioned against each post.

All candidates applying for the above-mentioned posts shall be entitled to age relaxation in accordance with Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limits) Rules 1993, including general age relaxation of 5 years. No relaxation will be allowed in lower age limit, physical standards, or endurance test.

Selected candidates shall be liable to be posted at any place in Pakistan.

Applicants already in government service should apply through proper channel and must produce an NOC from their department at the time of interview.

Applicants shall present original documents along with a set of attested copies of degrees/certificates issued by recognized boards/universities, CNIC, and Domicile Certificate at the time of interview.

Providing false or bogus information will result in cancellation of candidature and legal action at any stage of recruitment or after employment.

Passing a test/stage will qualify the candidates for the next stage only. A candidate failing in any test/stage will not be qualified for the next test/stage.

Upon final selection, candidates must undergo a comprehensive medical examination conducted by an authorized Federal Government Civil Surgeon. Candidates found medically unfit shall be disqualified.

No TA/DA will be admissible for Physical and Endurance Tests / Written Exam (CBT) / Skill Tests / Interview.

No candidate shall be allowed to appear in physical or written tests without producing the Roll No. Slip and original CNIC/Passport.

Candidates declared eligible for the posts of Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Constable, and Constable Driver will initially be required to undergo Physical Measurements (height and chest) and an Endurance Test consisting of a one mile (1.6 km) run (qualifying time: 7 minutes for males, 10 minutes for females). Only applicants who successfully pass this stage will be allowed to appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
