Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of legal opinions, advisory notes, and compliance reports.

• Support in reviewing contracts, MoUs, and procurement documents for legal alignment.

• Help vet legal documents including applications, replies, and regulatory submissions.

• Coordinate with internal departments to gather and organize legal and regulatory information.

• Prepare summaries and briefs for ongoing litigation and arbitration cases.

• Liaise with external legal counsel for scheduling meetings and compiling legal documentation.

• Stay updated on national electricity policies, sectoral regulations, and legal developments relevant to the organization.

• Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and workshops with senior management.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong teamwork and legal research abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation tools.

General Conditions

• Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 80% marks (for local graduates).

• 65% marks or equivalent required for foreign graduates.

• Degree must not be issued later than three years from the date of the advertisement.

• Age limit: Maximum 30 years as of the closing date.

• Monthly stipend of Rs. 100,000/- will be offered during training.

• Selected candidates will serve for a one-year trainee period.

• Upon satisfactory performance, candidates may be considered for permanent positions.
