• Admission Test/Entry Test:

  • BS Programs: Admission is based on the GCU Entrance Test or Intermediate/DAE/A-Level Marks. A minimum of 50% passing marks are required in the GCU Entrance Test.

  • MS/MPhil & PhD Programs: Admission requires passing an NTS-GAT (General) or HAT test, or a specific department test.

• Important Dates: The last date for applications is 11-12-2025. The interview date is 14-12-2025 (for some programs), and the Merit List will be displayed on 17-12-2025.

Important Notes (Terms and Conditions):

• Candidates must apply online at www.gcuonline.pk and generate the Challan Form.

• The application processing fee is Rs. 1000/- for each BS Program (Non-refundable) and Rs. 1500/- for each MS/MPhil/PhD Program (Non-refundable).

• The fee may be deposited in any branch of UBL across Pakistan.

• The hard copy/printout of the admission form along with the required documents (educational documents, domicile, paid fee challan, original verification in the respective department, etc.) is NOT required to be sent to the University by post. Documents will be uploaded on the Online Portal and the University’s official email will be used for verification.

• No separate SMS/email will be sent for any intimation.

How to Apply for Admissions in Government College University?

• Visit the official admission website: Go to www.gcuonline.pk.

• Generate Challan: Fill out the initial application details to generate the bank Challan Form for the processing fee.

• Pay Fee: Deposit the required processing fee (Rs. 1000/- for BS; Rs. 1500/- for MS/MPhil/PhD) in any branch of UBL across Pakistan.

• Complete Online Application: Log back into the online portal and complete the detailed application form, ensuring all academic and personal data is accurate.

• Upload Documents: Upload the required documents, including educational certificates and the paid fee challan, to the online portal.

• Final Submission: Submit the application online before the deadline of 11-12-2025.
