Candidates must be permanent residents of Lower Chitral or Upper Chitral.

For the Junior Scale Stenographer role, candidates must have a shorthand speed of 50 words per minute and a typing speed of 35 words per minute.

For the Wildlife Watcher role, candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches and a chest measurement of 34×36 inches.

Wildlife Watcher candidates must also pass a physical test: running 2 kilometers in 20 minutes.

General age relaxation will be provided according to government rules.

Educational degrees from private or foreign universities must be verified by HEC.
