The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Lahore, has announced several high-level job opportunities within its Project Management Unit (PMU). These positions are specifically for the “Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) – Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore (Through Trenchless Technology),” which is funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

Recruitment for these roles is strictly on a contract basis. The agency is seeking experienced professionals to fill technical and financial management roles to ensure the successful execution of this infrastructure project. Selected candidates will contribute to the development of critical sewerage systems using advanced trenchless technology in the Lahore metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities

• Geotechnical investigations of laying sewer through micro-tunneling or tunneling of large-scale projects in metropolitan areas.

• Managing electrical and mechanical components of water sector projects such as pumping stations and SCADA systems.

• Handling administration and financial operations within public or multinational private sector environments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• TBM Expert: B.Sc/M.Sc in Civil, Geological, or Mining engineering with at least 8 years of relevant tunneling experience.

• Manager (E&M): B.S or B.Sc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering with PEC registration and 10 years of experience in the water sector.

• Manager (Admin & Finance): ACCA, ACMA, or MBA Finance with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Registration with PEC is mandatory where applicable.

• All degrees must be recognized by HEC Pakistan.
