This hiring initiative is purely temporary, non-pensionable, school-specific, and non-transferable. Selected candidates will be engaged for a duration of 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during the Financial Year 2025-26 and 2026-27, or until the arrival of regular incumbents, whichever occurs earlier.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in the relevant special education field (Hearing Impaired, Physically Disabled, or Visually Impaired).

• Fulfill school-specific operational and teaching duties as required by the institution.

• Maintain strict adherence to performance and attendance standards monitored by concerned authorities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• M.A or M.Ed. or BS in Special Education from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

• Specialization in the relevant field (Deaf, Physically Disabled/Handicapped, or Blind).

• For BS-17 posts: First division or grade-B is required.

• For BS-16 posts: Second division or grade-C is required.

• For Visually Impaired (VI) posts: Certificate of proficiency in Braille, issued by the Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab.

• Fresh aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply; however, preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience.

• No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.

• No age relaxation will be granted under the STI Policy.

• The engagement shall be liable to termination on one month notice or payment of one month’s salary in lieu thereof by either side without assigning any reason.

• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.

• The department reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
