• For Commander: B.A/B.Sc or equivalent from a recognized board/university.

• For Technician: Intermediate from a recognized board/university.

• Mandatory: Bomb Disposal Course from a recognized institution.

• Mandatory: Minimum one year of experience in the relevant field.

• Alternate Qualification: Retired Armed Forces Commissioned Officers / JCOs / NCOs who have passed the Bomb Disposal Course from Military College of Engineering Risalpur, PAF-105 AMX, Ammunition Depot Malir Cantt, Naval Bomb Disposal Unit Course Karachi, or any other recognized Armed Forces institution.
